Researchers in California have found that parent and teacher reported rates of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder do NOT seem to exaggerate the prevalence of the disorder.  Contrary to many previous studies, this new analysis shows that adult-observed ADHD is useful for surveying state-based and national prevalence of ADHD.
